It's roomy, I'm happy with the height inside and with the vestible. For its large size, we were able to set it up quickly every time after the first time -you know, first time takes always longer - and it always fitted back in the bag it came with.I have to remember a vacation in Smoky Mountains last year where we had a rainstorm during a couple of days. The tent came out in outstanding condition after it: no leaking, very good wind stability, we were able to have air coming inside thanks to the meshes and had no condensation. The rainfly kept the water out at a good distance and dried very quickly. The fact that it has a large size vestible helped us cook and eat in there. It's a great tent for myself and children - 3.It has served us well through severe thunderstorms with hail and 50mph gusts, while other tents collapsed and leaked, including K*lty. We've camped in 17 degree weather and with a small cat heater we were very warm and comfy. As with any tent, there is a learning curve to setting up, I can set it up in about twenty minutes by myself, ten with help which isn't bad considering this is a large tent. I can even get in back in the bag with a little room left. All said, this is a great tent for a family and it has a lifetime warranty. It is very easy to set up. Color coded aluminum poles/grommets made it easy to get the right poles in the right holes. The fly and added room its vestibule creates would be useful if rainy, but so far we've had sunny camping and I haven't used it yet. I did assemble the fly to see what it looks like and how it functions. I've posted some pictures above. The zippers on this tent seem to be high quality, in fact the entire rig appears well engineered and manufactured. The look of the tent blends with the environment and it is very pleasing aesthetically. This is our main car-camping tent for a family of 4. I wouldn't try to sleep more people than 5 in the tent if you have any gear in it at all. (Most tents overestimate capacity). As far as headroom goes I am 6'2".
